Hi there! I’m Michele, and I am so glad you found your way here.

The PosthuMESS Blog is a space where we talk honestly (and sometimes with a little humor and a little sarcasm) about a topic many of us would prefer to avoid: what happens when we die and what we leave behind.

This blog was born out of my own experience dealing with my mom’s estate when she passed unexpectedly. It was overwhelming, sometimes a little messy, and full of lessons I wish I’d known ahead of time. My hope is that by sharing those lessons, stories, and simple steps, I can make this topic feel less scary.

This blog really isn’t about death though. It’s about love. It’s about making things easier for the people who matter to us most.
