ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Michele. Thanks for stopping by.

I started this blog after living through what I now call a “PosthuMESS”—the kind of logistical, emotional, and paper-stuffed chaos that happens when someone you love dies without a plan. That someone was my mom. She passed unexpectedly, and what she left behind (or didn’t) taught me more than I ever wanted to know about grief, clutter, and guesswork.

This blog isn’t really about death. It’s about love—and how we show it by planning ahead. My goal here is simple: to make it easier for you to talk about the hard stuff, get your affairs in order (even just a little), and leave behind a map, not a mess.

Because one day, someone will have to go through your junk drawer.

Let’s make that job a little easier—and maybe even a little meaningful.
